How do I get a Walmart Canada Gift Card?

As a Walmart Canada account holder, book a flight, hotel, car, activity, ground transport or package on Walmart Travel and earn a Walmart Canada digital Gift Card. The earn must exceed $5 CAD on a single transaction to qualify for a Gift Card. If the earn exceeds $250 CAD, you will be issued multiple gift cards as the maximum value on a single gift card is $250 CAD.

When do I get my Walmart Canada digital Gift Card?

You will receive a redemption email from Walmart Travel Powered by Expedia  (noreply@tangocard.com) to claim your digital Gift Card 30 days after your travel end date.

 

How is my gift card amount calculated?

The amount of the gift card will be calculated based on the amount that is paid at the time of booking, including taxes and fees.  This excludes any taxes and fees that are paid later, such as a resort fee which is paid upon arrival at a hotel.  The gift card amount will be rounded down to the nearest whole dollar. 

 

What do I do once I receive my redemption email? 

  • Click the Redemption Link provided in the redemption email to claim your Gift Card. The resulting landing page will contain your digital Gift Card information.

  • Save or print the digital Gift Card landing page.

  • Present the printed Gift Card at any Walmart Canada store or use online at walmart.ca/en.

 

Where can I use my Walmart Canada Gift Card? 

Walmart Canada Gift Cards can be redeemed at any Walmart Canada store excluding licensees, on walmart.ca and on Marketplace. 

 

How do I find out the balance left on my card?

Does my card expire?

Walmart Canada Gift Cards do not expire.
